Judith Cheristin-Rosembert

Executive Director/Owner

Au Clair De Lune Daycare was founded and is operated by Judith Cheristin-Rosembert. Judith is a people person that is highly passionate about helping parents achieve their dreams of bringing up their kids in a morally sound way of life. Judith is an educator and an established niche player in the childcare industry, having several years of hands-on experience.

She worked in the education field for many years. She started as a nanny in her sophomore year in college, and from then on, she worked as a preschool teacher for children with and without disabilities. She has taught ESL and Special Education. In addition to being EEC certified, she holds a BA in Education and Psychology and is certified in Moderate Disabilities. Having worked with families with so many variations along their structural, cultural, and demographic dimensions, she has gained the ability to discern families’ priorities, concerns, and challenges related to childcare and the overall academic, social, and emotional well-being of their little ones.

Hannah Sheehan

My name is Hannah Sheehan; I have been in the field for six years and am looking forward to getting to know your family!. I fell in love with this field because of how much difference can be made in the earliest years of someone’s life. I continually find I learn as much as an educator as my students do. Over the years, I’ve learned so many new things through teaching and from my students and their families. For instance, I know a small amount of Mandarin and Spanish from learning to accommodate children who are multilingual learners. Teaching children from various backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and needs has become one of my very greatest joys in life. To tell you a little bit more about myself, I joined the field six years ago and have enjoyed teaching many classrooms aged infants through school-age before transitioning to the beginning of my career in the administrative side of childcare in the last year. I recently obtained my associate's degree in Early Education and Care, am lead infant, toddler, and preschool certified as well as directors one and two certified, and I am studying to receive my bachelor's degree in Early Education and Care. My favorite part of teaching young children is bonding with them and seeing the little people they become over time; it’s so interesting to see their little personality traits begin to develop from infancy. I love getting to know children as they are getting to know themselves and the world around them for the first time, and as an educator, I love doing whatever I can to enrich that process for them in my teaching. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, especially my two cats (Salem and Grayson), my partner, my five siblings, and my nieces and nephews. I also enjoy camping, painting, pouring candles, and watching YouTube content. Ayalise Alkassar - Preschool Teacher

I Love teaching because the energy possessed by the children is truly invigorating. Witnessing their growth, seeing their faces light up when they grasp new concept, and being part of their educational journey is incredibly fufilling. the geniune joy and excitement that radiate from the children as they explore the worl around them is contagious, and it fuels my passion for learning and reminds me why I'm devoted to shaping young minds and making a positive impact in their lives. I believe that teaching should go beyond imparting knowledge; it should inspire curiosity, nurture creativity, and foster a love for learning. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where children feel valued, respected and encouraged to take risks. I prioritize fostering independent thinking, problem solving skills, and effective communication, equipping the students with the tools they need to navigate an ever-changing world. My ultimate goal is inspiring students to discover their own unique potential and empowering them to make positive impact on the world.

Nicole Awad

Hello! My name is Nicole Awad, I am 23 years old and I am thrilled to be your child’s preschool teacher, I am very excited and can’t wait to watch your child learn and grow each day! I come to Au Claire De Lune Daycare with 5 plus years of experience in child care . In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family and my very energetic puppy, Peanut! Some of my favorite things to do are, visiting new countries , trying new food and reading a good book. This journey is going to be a blast learning and having fun for everyone including myself!

Cheyenne DeVito - Infant Teacher

My name is Ms. Cheyenne and I have been teaching children for almost a decade! I love getting to watch my students reach new milestones and seeing their smiles and firsts each day! I work to prioritize students individual needs and to foster an environment where they are in charge of their own learning. Both myself and my son love to go to the racetrack to watch the cars and car shows when the weather is warm.

Katy Cruz- Toddler Teacher

My name is Katyana but you can call me Ms. Katy! I have always loved working with children, babysitting from 15 years old and then transitioning into daycare teaching in 2021. My goal as a teacher is to provide my students with a rich learning environment where they feel safe to explore and initiate learning and express themselves. I love that I get to play a role in their childhood and that I get the opportunity to teach them. In my spare time I love to cook and spending time with my family, especially my sons.

Madeline White- Toddler Teacher

While I have many years of childcare experience as a nanny, I am excited for my first position in a group childcare setting at ACDLD. I love working with children and one of my favorite parts about teaching is children’s incredible imaginations and creativity. I enjoy giving children open ended opportunities to explore their interest and creativity and helping them to learn from these discoveries! In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family and friends.

Lauren Blalock- Infant/Toddler

My name is Lauren. I've been working with kids for 8+ years. I love crafting and creating new things, in my free time I like to play games, craft, or watch movies with my boyfriend. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and working with you and your children.'

Fabiola Canuelas -Toddler Teacher

Hello! My name is Ms. Fabiola and I love working with children! I have been taking care of children for four years and in the last year stepped into the childcare environment with ACDLD! I love teaching and being a part of the students learning journey and watching how they grow and interact with their friends. Its so gratifying to see how happy our students are at school. It is very important to me that my students are able to express themselves comfortably and that we are able to learn from one another. In my spare time I love reading, going to car shows, and spending time with my loved ones.
